It included traditional gilded mirrors, sign-written in gold leaf with timeless phrases like “Fancy a pint?”, oil paintings of splitting the harp of a pint of Guinness; and lino prints of pub moments. Devon’s work will be for sale in a group show, “Lives Less Ordinary: Working Class Britain Re-seen”, at Two Temple Place, until April 2025. She is Currently planning a second solo show on the theme of gambling and its ambivalent pleasures.
